Marymount Lives to fight another day in OT win against the formidable Gettysburg -
by rayganking on January 2nd, 2024
Marymount wins 93-92 in OT in first round of conference tournament.
Set to play the #2 ranked St. Augustine's Falcons, who have put up outstanding numbers especially on defense despite running without a president. The Saints hope to capitalize in a must-win game to keep their tournament hopes alive. The Saints are sure to play a little different against the much slower paced Falcons in a battle for the most boards and the least turnovers. Their starting five is going to be quite a bit different: Huey will play the 1, Dyson at 2, Ellington at 3, Eads at 4, and Fontana at his normal five position. They will try to force the ball inside to their taller players in order to defeat the best perimeter defense in the conference that regularly limits their opponents to less than 60 points.

The Saints go marching out. -
by Guru242 on December 13th, 2022
The Marymount Saints unexpected Deep Run in the Division 3 tournament finally came to an end. The fact that they won the Conference Tournament was unlikely but hard earned and vaulted the Saints into the big dance. They played hard and persevered through to the Elite 8 but alas fell short of the final 4. The future looks bright for the Saints having completed a good recruiting endeavor garnering 5 new recruits for next season including three 3 star players and two awesome 2 stars. Good Luck to all in the final push. The Saints are ready for next season.
