Press Releases:

Mar 08 2018: End of An Era in Mobile - by AnonymousClassified on March 31st, 2021

-Mobile, Alabama
Big news out of Spring Hill this week, as the Badgers fire their longtime coach, Jim Dillon.

"This is a difficult release to type. Not just because of how the season ended (a heartbreaker against Florida Southern), but because of the news which I have to deliver. We have decided to part ways with Jim Dillon as head coach. Now, I know I said at the beginning of this year that he would be around for longer, but this year's record was simply unacceptable with the talent we have. We have hired Toby Price as our new coach, with hope that he will bring some new life to the Badgers with him." - AnonymousClassified

Dillon, when asked about the move, said this:
"I understand the reasoning for the move, and wish Spring Hill all the best in the future."

Price, also addressed, had this to add:
"As an Alabama boy, I am thrilled to be coaching in-state with these Badgers. I'm excited to see how good we can be."

Mar 10 2017: Badgers Sneak Past Judges 90-84, Hurley leads with 35 pts - by AnonymousClassified on February 3rd, 2021

Las Vegas, NV - In Round Two of the V.5 Conference tournament Friday night, #7 Spring Hill managed to edge #2 Brandeis 90-84. Small forward Dan Hurley was the core of the Badgers' offense, scoring 35 points on 12/17 shooting (6/10 from beyond the arc.) "Dan was one of the reasons we were able to advance tonight. He was phenomenal." Said Coach Dillon, when asked about Hurley. "Now, we just have to focus on the semi against a very talented Rowan team. The goal right now is to keep this run going." Spring Hill's next game is Saturday night against #6 Rowan University, with a spot in the title game on the line.

Feb 25 2017: How Spring Hill's Gonna Do Things - by AnonymousClassified on January 30th, 2021

The direction that we're hopefully gonna go is this: We're gonna be a fast-moving, tough, hard-nosed team built around our shooters and anchors inside. Our main goal is to get at least two promotions in five years, or at least avoid relegation. I'm gonna keep Coach Dillon around for at least a few more years to see what heights he can take our program to. I talked to Landon Knight ,our point guard, and he simply said, "I'll do what I can to work towards these goals. Let's get to work."

Feb 25 2017: Classified Grateful For Job, Ready To Improve Program - by AnonymousClassified on January 30th, 2021

First off, I am glad to be hired by Spring Hill. I think we can accomplish many things, good and great. I'm not going to make too many promises, since I don't want to fall into the new president trap of expounding on and exaggerating my own rebuilding prowess. I will say that I am ready to improve Spring Hill and turn it into a solid program.
