The Oklahoma Christian Eagles faced what was thought to be a non-competitive match up vs the New England College Pilgrims. The game was far from that with the Pilgrims at one point with a 60-54 lead. The player of the game was C Anthony Strong who had 6 pts, 13 rebounds and 2 assists. The Eagles will have a tough matchup tomorrow on the road vs the 25-5 Evansville Purple Aces. The regular season matchup between these teams resulted in 77-74 L and a 90-87 W! If the Eagles want a shot to win they must kill Evansville offensively! Go Eagles!

In the first round of VI.32 conference playoff play, the Oklahoma Christian Eagles had a comfortable win over the 7-24 Alvernia Golden Wolves by a score of 88-57. The player of the game for the Eagles was PG Louie Gay who racked up 30 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Eagles coach Brian Clemons said: "The boys knew they were the superior team today and they played like it." The Eagles will play 6 seeded New England College who will be a much tougher opponent with a record of 19-11. Go Eagles!
