Mar 15 2043: Purdue Ruins a Bid Theft - by Wreckless on January 31st, 2025

(W. Lafayette, IN.) Despite winning the IV 24 conference the Purdue Boilermakers had to win their conference tourney to secure a bid in the Division 3 tournament. That they did so with 3 walk-ons, 2 overwhelmed seniors and a clutch of freshman was a bit unbelievable. Until their 80-76 win over Trinity College Purdue was not under any consideration for a berth. Boilermakers head coach Mark Cherry has done a pretty good job with the wreck that is Purdue.

In a reckless decision the wreck has walked away from Providence college all the way to West Lafayette Indiana. ā€œI’m certain that success for The Boilermakers is going to entail a long and grinding road. I see losses - lots and lots of losses in our future.ā€
