Coach Peters was asked postgame about rumors that the university will be moving on next season. His response was straight to the point; "I will be here no matter what." Seems like a threat, the way he has Tech playing lately, but either way it adds more drama to an already disappointing season for the Golden Eagles. After adding size in the offseason, the coach thought he had a team that could push for promotion, but that doesn't look likely now.

Although it is a preseason game, TTU has their most impressive win under the new President. The Golden Eagles took down Division 1 foe Auburn Tigers in the Hoop, and took the win in a shocking defeat. Make sure to purchase your season tickets now to watch these men in action for the season!

After an impressive run through the conference tournament, the Golden Eagles won and earned a berth to the division 3 tournament. This is not the goal, but it is a great start for the new dynasty being built here in Cookeville, Tennessee.
