In 2009, the internet had matured and given rise to MMOGs (massively multiplayer online games) like Hattrick and others. Broken Bat baseball simulation was launched and was grew to more than 500 users and more than thirty seasons of operation.

Hardwood Online College Basketball is currently under development. It is using a similar framework and game design as Broken Bat baseball simulation, but modified for college basketball.
