Blackbeard Joined: 03/17/2019 Posts: 566 St. Johns Red Storm VI.7	Just to go more in depth with this. Yes, you do get 2 points each day for 53 cycles. Multiply 53 times 2 and you can expect to be given 106 contacts for the entire season. Also, you are given 29 points once a new season starts. You can only hold a max of 45 points and if you stay at 45 you do not get the 2 per day so make sure you stay under 45 by spending them down. In addition, you can only carry over 10 points in to the new season and if you have over 10 when the season rolls over you lose everything over the number of 10. So you can in reality start a new season with 39 points plus the added 106 points given by 2 per day you will have 145 contact points to use during a season. Thats more in-depth. I would suggest spending all of your points because under classman, meaning HS freshman soph are cheaper and will cost less contacts in their Freshman season than they will as HS seniors. However, putting a lot of contacts on freshman, sophs even though cheaper they come with a risk because over their high school career they can become "Troubled Students" and they won't go to any team no matter how many contacts you put on them. And you do not get those contacts back, they are lost. Thats how recruiting works. Hope it clarifies things a bit better. Updated Sunday, June 15 2025 @ 2:34:16 pm PDT

KrusherKev73 Joined: 06/04/2025 Posts: 3 Texas A&M-Kingsville Javelinas VI.30	Clarification request please....at season flip, if you have more than 10 recruiting points saved up, do you actually lose all of them, or is the amount over 10 points only cut in half? Rules indicate the balance of points over 10 gets cut in half, and that is what I recall from prior attempts at the game, but it is totally possible that the losing of all points over 10 might be a new aspect to the game. Blackbeard Joined: 03/17/2019 Posts: 566 St. Johns Red Storm VI.7	My bad. From the manual: Note 2: any points above 10 not spent by the final recruiting day will be halved for next season. I don't like losing any points at seasons end so I use them all ad sometimes will keep 10, but no more. Thanks for correcting that. As far as that goes, I don't think it has changed but with a lot of stuff essentially being changed I lose track sometimes. Updated Monday, June 16 2025 @ 10:19:33 am PDT
