That's something the Prairie Wolves haven't had a lot of in the past few years. But since the coaching switch, they are 3-1, the only loss coming to a D2 school which was a close game, can they keep this success?

Nebraska Wesleyan has made a coaching change, they have fired head coach Russell Wilson and they have hired Sam Scott who is a good and successful coach.

Nebraska Wesleyan folds late to lose their 2nd conference game of the year against a pretty poor team. This was a very bad showing in a game they should have won, they gave up 22 more points then they scored in the 2nd half after being up 11 at halftime. Coach Wilson has a lot to think about coming into there next game.


Nov 25 2032: Conference Dub vs Southwestern - by lilred0709 on June 18th, 2023

Nebraska Wesleyan gets a 5 point win against a sold out crowd at southwestern. This is their first win in their new conference in D2. Is this a sign for things to come, or is this just false hope for the prairie wolves. 1 thing stood out today especially Harvey had 17 points coming off the bench, coach Wilson was asked about this. Here is his interview today.
Reporter: “Great win today coach, what are your thoughts on Harvey and could we see a change in the starting lineup?”
Coach Wilson: “Well Harvey is a great player, and I’ll have some stuff to think about regarding the lineups for this teams future, but I kinda like the fire power coming off the bench”
Reporter: “Angel struggled shooting the ball today, do you think this will be a problem for him in the future”
Coach Wilson: “No, Angel is a great player and I know he will get back in the gym and work even harder than before to shoot the ball good”
Reporter: “Is jones having 5 turnovers today a problem?”
Coach Wilson: “Of course any turnovers are a problem, ask Coach Lackey over there at Southwestern they had almost double the turnovers and it cost them in the end, but I think in practice we will make sure to work on that so it doesn’t cause problems down the road”
Reporter: “Okay last question, any updates on recruiting you still have yet to bring in a player in what feels like forever”
Coach Wilson: “No comment”

Nebraska Wesleyan has 1 goal in mind for this upcoming season. Just don’t get relegated back to D3 they worked so hard to make it up to D2 they don’t want to leave after their first year. It might be kinda hard because Nebraska Wesleyan went 3-7 in the non-con, with those 3 wins only against bad D3 schools
