Dec 20 2035: Flyers on a 9-0 - by freewind on December 11th, 2023

First time in program history to have a 9-0 start in conference play. Some of the alumni think this might be the best team they've seen since the 06 & 07 years. Not only can Scott play in heals now, he's dancing his way in them towards a tournament run. He's getting a lot of help from the Red Shirt Junior Robert Love who just came off of his 6 POTG this season. This team isn't going to wow you with any high stats, doesn't have to. One of the best D's in the country holding opponents to 60.4 PPG. Big match for this squad on the road as they head towards Thiel College (7-2) tomorrow.

Sat down with the AD for his second interview now that he's been able to settle in with the team. "The rumors are correct, Plunkett is walking around campus in silhouette heels. 6'3" isn't cutting it when he's in the Center position. Our Wheaties trial didn't work, if anything just made the guy sick. Losing by over 30 to a DI team today made me realize we have to have taller ambitions. Now if you will excuse me, I have a 1 PM appointment with Madame Clairvoya to help me setup my lineup for our game tomorrow against Defiance."

We had a sit down with the new AD over in UD Arena. "I'm pretty happy to finally be back in here in Dayton. Lot of work ahead of us. Coach Rashaad and the last AD apparently thought it would be a good idea to bring a 6'3" center on board as our star player for next year. You heard that right, 6'3". I've had cheerleaders taller than that in my office. Pretty certain last AD had to be a crosstown Raider fan to do us dirty like that. Don't worry, we are putting Vance on a robust diet of Milk and Wheaties. We're hoping for a late bloomer still. Now if you excuse me gentlemen, i got to get Rashaad to the next service so he can confess his recruiting sins before practice."
