Nov 08 2017: Dalton Wallace Become's SUNY Oswego's All Time Leading Scorer - by NYStateofMind on February 24th, 2021

Redshirt Senior Dalton Wallace became SUNY Oswego's all time leading scorer today with 2453 points, achieving the unthinkable. A 2 star recruit coming out of his SR year in HS, Oswego was the only program to offer him a scholarship. 142 games later and Wallace has a Freshman of the Year and 2 All Conference Awards to his name. He captained the Lakers to their first ever promotion to D2 and to the programs first ever tournament win last year. He hopes to build on those achievements this season as he looks to add to an already impressive resume.

Apr 01 2017: A Farewell to Mo Bull - by NYStateofMind on February 10th, 2021

SUNY Oswego says goodbye to RS SR Mo Bull today, a player known around the program for his constant smile and jovial attitude. Bull is loved around the program for his "team-first" approach and willingness to sacrifice personal glory for program success. Bull reflected "When I got here, I told coach I wanted to be the guy he asks the most of. I wanted to be his do-everything player. I worked relentlessly to be my best self for the team and I think that's reflected in the programs success over the past 2 years." Job well done.
The Lakers program has been taken to historic heights, thanks in large part to Bull's impact. The 2016 season saw the Lakers winning the first conference title and promotion in program history, going 28-2 in conference and 38-7 overall. The 2017 season saw the Lakers struggle a bit during the regular season, but find their stride in the conference tourney, going 4-0 and winning their first ever conference tourney title. The 2017 season also saw the Lakers win their first ever national tournament game, an 80-59 win over 8th seeded Ripon. Bull currently is 2nd all time in program history in career assists with 636, and 5th all time in career steals with 160. Perhaps the most important stat to him, he leaves the program with the 5th best all time +/- at +4.75.

Bull leaves Oswego with a degree in Psychology, and plans to attend graduate school to pursue a career in social work. "I want to live a life helping others, SUNY Oswego allowed me to be in the position to make that dream come true. I am forever grateful for my time spent here." Bull will be missed.
